The Certificates

Pursue certificates in Christian Leadership, Ministry Leadership, or Biblical & Theological Studies to gain a deeper understanding of your God-given calling.

We offer students the opportunity to earn three certificates.

Whether you are looking to expand your leadership, deepen your understanding of scripture, or grow in the purpose God has for your life, Mosaic School of Ministry has a program for you.

Christian Leadership Certificate

The Christian Leadership Certificate is designed for individuals who want to grow as Christian leaders in all areas of life—whether at home, in the marketplace, or in ministry. Using a Christian worldview lens, this certificate educates students with high quality, essential biblical knowledge and skills to empower them to lead themselves and others effectively in their area of influence.

Duration: 2 Years — 4 Semesters / 8 Terms (8 weeks per term)

Cost: $200 per term

Ministry Training Certificate

The Ministry Training Certificate is tailored for working adults who feel called to vocational ministry. This certificate focuses on training individuals for various leadership roles within the church. Students will complete the Christian Leadership Certificate alongside (or prior to) this certificate, gaining both foundational leadership skills and specialized training for church-related ministry roles. In addition to classroom education, students will receive hands-on, practical ministry training opportunities throughout the program.

Duration: 2 Years — 4 Semesters / 8 Terms (8 weeks per term)

Cost: $200 per term*

*Christian Leadership Certificate must be completed alongside, or prior to, applying for Ministry Leadership Certificate. These are billed separately.*

Ministry Leadership Certificate

The Ministry Leadership Certificate is tailored for working adults who feel called to vocational ministry. Biblical & Theological Studies Certificate

The Biblical and Theological Studies Certificate is designed to deepen students' understanding of Scripture, helping them clarify what they believe and why they believe it.

Duration: 2 Years — 4 Semesters / 8 Terms (8 weeks per term)*

Cost: $200 per term

All FAQs

Are certificate programs in-person or online?

Both! All certificate programs are available as a hybrid of online and in-person learning.

In person classes take place at Mosaic Church on Tuesday Nights.

For the Biblical & Theological Studies and Ministry Leadership Certificates, students attend class from 6:30–7:30pm.
For the Christian Leadership Certificate, students will attend class from 7:30–8:30pm.

Any additional studying, assignments, or discussion will be conducted online or on an individual basis.

What do I need to know about the application process?

Students will first submit an interest form to Mosaic School of Ministry (MSOM). If approved,students will be given a link to register with Highlands College Leadership Institute (HCLI) in order to access the curriculum. Once completed, students may pursue one or more of the available certificates at a time.

Students will apply directly to HCLI for each and any of the desired certificate programs. *See all FAQs for admission requirements.

All admissions are processed through HCLI.

*Approval from MSOM does not guarantee acceptance into HCLI*

How much is tuition?

Tuition for each certificate is $200 per term ($400 per semester). There is a $50 non-refundableapplication fee to apply for Highlands College Leadership Institute (HCLI).

Tuition is paid directly to HCLI.
